Who we are

ebizmarts.com is published by Ebizmarts Corp. This notice covers this website only. Buying an extension, using the Point of Sale or connecting Mailchimp involves the product sites and the products themselves, which have their own notices and, where you pay us, collect the billing details needed to invoice you.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 to see which pages help and which ones people leave without finding what they came for. It runs in Consent Mode with everything denied by default: until you press Accept on the banner, no analytics cookie is set and nothing that identifies your browser is stored.

If you accept, Google sets its _ga cookies and we see aggregated page views and the country a visit came from. We never send names, email addresses or form contents to analytics.

If you decline, or accept and later change your mind, the analytics cookies are deleted from your browser at that moment. You can reopen the banner from the cookie settings link in the footer of any page.

Theme preference

Choosing light or dark mode saves one value in your browser's local storage so the choice survives a reload. It never leaves your device.

Entering your email in the footer sends it to our Mailchimp audience with a pending status. Mailchimp then emails you a confirmation link, and you are only subscribed if you click it. Every newsletter carries an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing removes you from future sends immediately. We do not add contact-form senders or customers to the newsletter without this opt-in.

The contact form

Submitting the form sends your name, email, company, chosen topic and message to our team by email and, if delivery succeeds, an acknowledgement copy to you. The message is handled by Cloudflare on the way and delivered through our transactional email provider. We keep it in our support inbox for as long as the conversation is useful and do not add you to any list because you wrote to us.

Two invisible checks protect the forms from bots: a hidden field that a human never sees, and a timer that rejects submissions filled in faster than a person could type. Neither stores anything about you.

Please do not send passwords, API keys or admin credentials through the form or by email. Messages that contain them are discarded without being actioned.

Only the service providers that operate this site on our behalf: Cloudflare for hosting and the forms' backend, Mailchimp for the newsletter, our transactional email provider for form delivery, and Google for analytics if you accepted it. We do not sell personal information, and we disclose it beyond those providers only when the law requires us to.

Hosting

ebizmarts.com is served by Cloudflare Pages from its global network. Cloudflare sees the request metadata any web host sees, such as your IP address and the pages you request, and uses it for security and to deliver the site. Cloudflare's own privacy policy governs that processing.

Other ebizmarts sites

The Point of Sale site, the extension store and the Mailchimp documentation are separate properties with their own notices. Accepting analytics here does not accept it there, and the other way round.

This notice and your use of this website are governed by the laws of the United States, where Ebizmarts Corp is established.
