Magento Open Source

ebizmarts has shipped for Magento since its first betas. All three products run on Magento Open Source 2 with the same modules as Adobe Commerce; the only differences are the platform's own: gift cards and reward points come from AheadWorks, Amasty, LoyaltyLion or Yotpo instead of Adobe Commerce's built-in ones.

Magento Open Source

What it does with ebizmarts

What the integration actually covers.

One codebase for both editions

Point of Sale, Payments Suite and Marketing Automation install on Open Source and Commerce from the same packages.

Multi-source inventory from 2.3

MSI sources, transfers and ready-for-pickup work on Open Source 2.3 and later.

Third-party loyalty and gift cards

AheadWorks Gift Cards, LoyaltyLion, Amasty Reward Points and Yotpo Loyalty fill in what Open Source does not ship.

Magento 1, for the record

The original Sage Pay and Mailchimp extensions remain in the store for Magento 1 merchants; new development is on Magento 2.

Questions

Before you connect it.

Is anything missing on Open Source?

Only what the platform itself lacks: built-in gift cards, store credit and reward points. Third-party programmes cover them at the till.

Which PHP versions?

Whatever your Magento version supports. The Marketing Automation extension is tested on PHP 8.1 to 8.4.

Something not on the list?

Tell us what you run. The three products integrate through Magento, so a lot works out of the box, and the rest is usually a conversation.
