The e-bike that needed a night
A four-figure bike, a partner to consult, a closed tab. The next morning a resume link is waiting. The manager sees it come back as a recovered order before lunch.
Recover Checkout
An e-bike costs enough that people hesitate, close the tab, and mean to come back. Recover Checkout watches every checkout that stops before payment completes, and sends a one-click resume link in your own Magento email template or by SMS. The customer lands back in a populated cart, and the order counts as recovered in your reports.
Why it matters
The customer chose the product, entered the address and stopped at the last step. A resume link brings back a share of those orders with no discount and no new marketing spend.
The link goes out while the intent is still warm, not in next week's newsletter. Timing is the difference between a recovered order and a competitor's.
It is a Magento email, with your logo and your wording, or an SMS if that is how your customers reply. Nothing arrives from a third-party sender.
Recovery is idempotent. If the first payment goes through after all, the link expires. Finance never has to unwind a duplicate.
How it works
Each checkout that reaches the payment step is tracked. If it stops, because the tab closed, the session expired or the card was declined, it is marked as stalled after a delay you set.
The suite sends a resume link through your Magento email templates or by SMS. The link opens the cart exactly as the customer left it, on any device, with the address and items intact.
The customer pays with a card, a wallet or a saved card. A card declined on a limit yesterday often goes through today; the link makes the retry effortless.
The order is flagged as recovered in the suite's dashboard and reports, so you can see what the feature returns month by month.
Ways merchants use it
High-consideration purchases where people pause, and any checkout that fails for a boring reason.

A four-figure bike, a partner to consult, a closed tab. The next morning a resume link is waiting. The manager sees it come back as a recovered order before lunch.

A declined payment is not a lost customer; it is a customer who was told no by their bank. Watching the floor from the glass, the manager sees the SMS resume link do its work: the second card goes through an hour later.

A dealer building a trade order was interrupted and left the checkout open. On the assembly floor, the manager and a technician check the recovered order against the bikes on the stands; it is already in Magento with its PO reference.

Questions
Within minutes of the checkout stalling, on a schedule you control in the admin.
Yes. It uses your Magento email templates, so the copy, the logo and the footer are yours.
The link expires automatically the moment the original payment succeeds, so nobody can pay twice.
Yes, as long as the customer had entered an email address or a mobile number before the checkout stalled.
No. Abandoned-cart emails from Mailchimp reach people who left a cart hours or days ago and are marketing. Recover Checkout is transactional: it targets the checkout that stopped at payment, minutes ago, with the exact cart ready to resume.
The payments team will tell you plainly what switching this on involves for your store, and what it costs.
